With spring approaching, everything has been taking on a new look. On the morning of February 20th, HNUST held the 2022 work meeting in Lide Building. The leaders of the school further unified their thinking, made clear goals, and made full efforts to create a better future!
"The year 2022 is the year of the 20th Party Congress, and an important year for the implementation of the school '353' strategy (“Three Comprehensive Transformation”, “Five More Focus” and “Three Continuous Improvement”). Secretary Tang Yayang first praised all the efforts of the teachers, students and staff in the past year, and then conveyed the spirit of the reading class, sharing his feelings of the meeting from the responsible atmosphere, strict bench-marking, and keeping a sense of responsibility and urgency. Tang also reported the study of the Party history of the school Party Committee leadership on January 13th. He pointed out that the school Party Committee attaches great importance to the study of the Party history, which has achieved obvious results, and strives to build a more united, disinterested, dedicated and enterprising leading group.
Based on the whole year's work in 2022, Tang put forward five suggestions on the development and construction of HNUST: Firstly, we should further strengthen theoretical learning. We ought to inspire ourselves, guide practice and advance work with the Party's innovation achievements. Secondly, we should further focus on the key tasks and fully implement all school work. Thirdly, we should further strengthen our strategic thinking and boost the high-quality development of our school. Fourthly, we should further enhance reform and innovation so as to stimulate the vitality and motivation of working. Lastly, we should further strengthen the normalization and long-term effect of the Party history study and education, and forge ahead with the spiritual strength from the glorious history of the Party.
" Today’s achievements came from hard work, and we must rely on hard work for a better future." Tang encouraged everyone to carry forward great founding spirit of the Party, clearly understand the situation, seize the opportunity, proceed with confidence, forge ahead bravely, and always maintain the spirit of pioneering, creating and working hard so as to fully implement the "353" strategy, and to ensure that practical achievements will have been made by the time the 20th National Congress is convened.
Zhu Chuanqu, President of HNUST, said that the past 2021 was a crucial year for the reform of HNUST. Looking back, HNUST has reached six great achievements: Party building has stronger foundation; morality education has been more humanized; "double-class" construction has more strength; team building has been stronger; modern governance has been more accurate; brand of HNUST has been brighter. Facing the new century, new era and new journey, Zhu emphasized that the whole school should make every effort to promote the "double first-class" high-quality construction, deepen the two-level target management of HNUST and schools and the reform of education evaluation in the new era, prepare well for the undergraduate enrollment expansion, and continue to fight against the epidemic. We should work together to write a new chapter in the high-quality development of HNUST through vigorous efforts and perseverance in line with the situation.
At the meeting, the party committee members of each school and relevant leaders made a summary of the work in the past year and the work deployment in 2022 in turn, hoping that at a new starting point, the teachers and students of the whole school will make new achievements in the new semester and stride forward to the future in a pragmatic and innovative manner!
