On the afternoon of March 5th, HNUST held the “New Journey and Beautiful Campus: Brisk Walking Activity”.Vice President He Zelong, Li Lin and Xie Hui attended the opening ceremony.

Xie Hui extended her festive wishes to the female faculty. She acknowledged the contributions of the faculty to the school's construction and reform, reflecting the spirit of “Gender equality”. Also, she hoped that everyone would participate in the event to enjoy the good atmosphere of the festival.

There were six check points for the activity. Faculty members need to walk to all check points to get their participation cards stamped at each stop.

In order to considerately care for female faculty and enrich the leisure life of female staff, HNUST has held various fitness activities celebrating International Working Women's Dayfor seven consecutive years, including this brisk walking event. It is understood that HNUST will also organize other activities to celebrate International Working Women's Day, including a seminar, visits and other outreach activities to support employees.
