Love Qihang Charity Concert Launched by HNUST for Left-Behind Children















On November 5th, a charity concert titled Love Qihang, jointly sponsored by HNUST and Hunan Cultural Center, was held in Hunan Concert Hall, aiming to sow the seeds of art and care for left-behind children.
The concert, an epitome of the activities about keeping in mind our party’s founding mission, was initiated by Professor Wang Yulin from Music Department and performed by the chorus of the School of Arts. More than 600 audiences enjoyed the concert and the song I Want to Have A Warm Home that brought the atmosphere to a climax.
“I hope the society will pay more attention to the left-behind children through this concert,” Professor Wang said. And he announced that 5 Zhengs, 10 guitars and almost 200,000 CNY were donated on the concert as educational fund for left-behind children of Qihang School in Qidong County.
It is reported that “Sow the Seeds of Art” the targeted poverty alleviation plan was founded by Hunan Cultural Center and Hunan Cultural and Tourism Volunteer Service Group. And this activity has been a poverty alleviation model for it has helped more than 5000 kids every year since 2014.
