On 18th May, the professor Andrew Wilson with the delegation of Sheffield Hallam University have quested our university. Liu Youjin, the deputy president of our university, received them in the conference room of No.618 in Comprehensive Building, and negotiated with them about the further cooperation.
On behalf of our university, after showed a hospitable welcome to the delegation, Liu Youjin introduced some basic information to them about the development, discipline features, infrastructure and so on, especially paid attention to the backgrounds and future prospects of the School of Architecture. He said that in the Thirteen Five-years Plan, in order to promote the development of internationalization of our campus, our university will concentrate on international communication and cooperation through setting fund program to encourage teachers and students to go abroad for further study and patronage the foreign students to study in our university. After this communication and discussion, he hopes that both parties can reach an consensus to form a benign cooperation relationship for a mutual improvement.
Andrew Wilson attaches importance to the joint school-running and appreciates the pre-work which have been done by the School of Architecture. He expects that both parties can realize the win-win situation after arranging the new communication form of curriculum.
After the conference, Andrew Wilson/the delegation visited the Reference Room of the School of Architecture and acquainted with circumstance of students in class. In the following schedules, both parties will discuss the cooperation in detail.
