HNUST Plays Education Disciplines Advantages for Further Economic and Social Development

In recent years, relying on talent cultivation and scientific research, education disciplines of HNUST have been improving their professional level and ability to serve the society by focusing on the frontiers and key areas of educational reform and development, and have been promoting local social and economic development by targeting the major needs of regional education development.
Specifically, there are three aspects. First, actively play the role of educational think tank. In 2019, the research reports completed by the team of education disciplines were affirmed by relevant leaders of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. During the period of epidemic prevention and control, multiple research teams of the education disciplines carried out investigations and wrote several investigation reports, two of which were mentioned in the relevant proposals of the CPPCC and NPC sessions in 2020.
Second, highlight the advantages of educational information technology. The Department of Educational Information Technology played its advantages in supporting the development of educational innovation and informatization, providing teachers with abundant theoretical support and practical guidance.  Teachers in this department took advantage of the disciplines to complete and share the video course of "Fast Online Course Construction", which timely responded to challenges faced by teachers in carrying out online teaching.
Third, contribute the strength of psychology. During the pandemic, the team of the department of psychology effectively organized and carried out the work of psychosocial services. Doctors of psychology from the School of Education were invited to join in a number of psychosocial assistance platforms, and actively provided students, front-line medical personnel, and community residents with professional services including psychological support and counselling.
