China Hunan Provincial Science &Technology Department announced that HNUST’s "Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Service Computing and Software Service New Technology", "Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Genetic Improvement and Comprehensive Utilization of Economic Crops", "Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing" and "Intelligent Construction Prefabricated Passive House of Engineering Technology Research Center" were approved publicly on special innovation platform for 2019 Hunan innovative province construction.
In recent years, HNUST has been attaching great importance to the provincial key laboratories and scientific research platforms, sparing no efforts to integrate superior resources, and refine research features, continuously improving the ability of independent innovation, gathering and training scientific talents and promoting the transformation of scientific research achievements. The approval of innovation platforms will help better serve local economy and society and further promote its "Double First-class" and high-level university construction.
