In order to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and promote complementarity, HNUST and Mingchuang Huiyuan Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd signed a strategic cooperation agreement. On the morning of May 8       ^th, Ding Minghong, Chairman of Mingchuang Huiyuan, Qiu Shuilin, the Chief Engineer and school officials of HNUST attended this signing ceremony presided over by Huang Liangpei, Vice Director of Engineering Research Center.

Wan Wen, Director of Office of Science and Technology, first gave a brief introduction to the development of Mineral Engineering of HNUST. He said school-enterprise cooperation played an important role in promoting discipline development and talent training. Wan expected a long-term cooperation between HNUST and Mingchunag Huiyuan, which respectively gives full play to innovation and resource superiority as well as technology and talent, and expressed his hope to realize the automatic and intelligent development of coal-mining industry and to cultivate more practical and innovative talents for better socio-economic development.

Mr. Ding said that the trend of the intelligent mining had been formed nationwide, which was the mission for mining personnel and scientific workers in this era. It is expected that this contract will better gather the intellectual resources of advanced talents from HNUST, and two parties will jointly promote the growth of talents and continuous innovation in science and technology.

At the meeting, Mr. Wan and Ding signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the university and the enterprise, and both parties will carry out all-round strategic cooperation in various aspects. The agreement formulated the complete operation mechanism and measures, which laid a solid foundation for further cooperation and industry-education integration.

During the in-depth discussion of the two parties after the signing ceremony, Wu Jicong, Deputy Director of Engineering Research Center, introduced the general situation of Engineering Research Center and the discipline of mechanical engineering. Besides, Qiu Shuilin, the Chief Engineer, made a special report on intelligent mining empowering the future development of coal mine.
