From 1st to 3rd December, the Aerobics Competition for College Students in Hunan Province, organized by the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, was held at Hunan University of Medicine. Aerobics team of Hunan University of Science and Technology (HNUST), under the leadership of team leader Li Liangming and coaches Yuan Hailong and Yang Jingping, performed outstandingly, securing one gold and five silvers, and ultimately claiming the top spot in the overall team rankings.

The competition includes university groups, college groups and higher vocational college groups. Over 300 aerobics athletes from 24 colleges and universities in Hunan participated in the competition. HNUST's aerobics team achieved the first place in aerobic dance, with Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Group of Mixed Double, Aerobics of Three, and Aerobics of Five all securing second place.
