HNUST Held the 15th "Song of Youth" Report Session for Outstanding Male Students

On the evening of December 10th, the 15th "Song of Youth" Report Session for Outstanding Male Students was held at the Li Jinhui Concert Hall. Ten students shared their stories. The session was hosted by the School Communist Youth League Committee and organized by the School of Computer Science and Engineering.

Zhao Qiancheng, a member of the School Party Committee and Vice President, attended the report session and urged the young to take the outstanding students as examples, cultivate their confidence, patience, and determination, and dare to pursue and fulfill their dreams.

Huang Junjie from the School of Computer Science and Engineering of HNUST shared his practice in digitization. He founded the “Digital Memory” practice team and promoted the joint digitization efforts of the school and the community.

Zhang Yang from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering stated the importance of perseverance in the face of academic setbacks and technological challenges. It was because of such efforts that he led his team to win a gold medal in a national competition. He also actively participates in volunteer service.

Ye Yuxin from the School of Foreign Studies has developed his language skills extensively and has excelled in cross-cultural communication and information dissemination. He is also dedicated to regular exercise, believing that a passion for sports empowers us all.

Driven by his determination, perseverance, and resilience, Zhang Guangjin from the School of Civil Engineering has achieved remarkable success in research. He won the National Scholarship and numerous other honors for innovation and entrepreneurship projects. He has been exempted from the postgraduate entrance examination and admitted to Hunan University.

Jiang Hengzhi from the School of Life and Health Sciences, has thoroughly deepened his professional knowledge and dedicated himself to the cause of rural revitalization. His 1,000 hours of volunteer service reflect his beliefs and efforts, and he has won multiple honors for rural revitalization programs.

Peng Lanxi from the School of Information and Electronic Engineering has transcended his physical limitations, excelled in academics and research, and become a vocal advocate for individuals with disabilities.

ZhengZhou from the School of Marxism Studies is deeply committed to the ideals of teaching. He continually expands his knowledge and hones his professional skills, actively engages in field research, and approaches his life with diligence. For three consecutive years, he has been awarded the National Inspirational Scholarship. Additionally, he actively participates in volunteer work, having supported thousands of students.

Zhang Shengbing, from the School of Physics and Electronic Science is also dedicated to teaching. He has won honors such as the first prize in the National Physics Teaching Innovation Competition for integrating his personal experiences into the field of education.

Zhao Yuanpei from the School of Resources Environment and Safety Engineering began a journey of introspection by participating in the College Students' Career Planning Competition. He took the lead in guiding his team to successfully complete a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship project. As the team leader, he inspired his classmates to be brave and determined in overcoming obstacles.

Zeng Chuanglai from Xiaoxiang College shared his experiences in both the military and on campus. In 2019, during a season of heavy rainfall and widespread flooding, Zeng devoted himself into military life without hesitation. For this he won the honor of "outstanding soldier with four qualities." Challenges came along with his returning to campus in 2021, but he managed to solve them all. His hard work pays eventually; he has won over 30 honorary titles, including the school's "Merit Student."

The stories of these exceptional male students serve as an inspiration for younger students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and create their own remarkable narratives.
