HNUST Postgraduates Made an Outstanding Achievement in the National Contest

From October 13th to 17th, the National Water Technological Innovation Exhibition for College and University Students 2017 was held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Bian Yongning, Liu Junfei and Wang Qian, instructed by Ren Bozhi and Zhu Guocheng, two teachers from School of Civil Engineering, entered the contest. Their fourworks qualified for the final and won the Bronze Prize of the Best Paper Award.
It is reported that the purpose of this exhibition is to produce a favorable atmosphere for innovation and business startups, build an national innovative and entrepreneurial brand for majors related to water supply and drainage, improve innovative and entrepreneurial level as well as promote the integration of production, teaching, research and application. Furthermore, the exhibition was co-sponsored by Advisory Board for Discipline of Water Science and Engineering in Colleges and Universities under Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, Scientific and Technological Commission of China Urban Water Association and Shenzhen Scientific and Technological Association and organized by Shenzhen Water Group. Over 180 works from more than 40 Chinese universities, including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Tongji University, which embodied the latest research findings of Chinese water industry, were showed in exhibition.
