Li extended warm welcome to Tsutsui yuko and her entourages. He reviewed the friendly exchange and close cooperation between our two universities in the past 12 years. Vice-president Liu Youjin made a brief introduction of the college in aspects of education scale, faculty, campus construction, preponderant disciplines, etc. He pointed out that, over the last few years, our school has had a rapid overall development speed and has made breakthroughs in field of equipment technology in oceanic mineral resources exploration. During the Thirteenth Five-Year plan period, our university will focus on developing international exchange and cooperation, establishing fund programs to benefit teachers and students studying abroad as well as foreign students studying in our college.

    Tsutsui yuko, who was very glad to visit our college and spoke highly of our students studying in Seisen University, gave a brief introduction to aspects of the history, education and specialty characteristics of Seisen University, emphasizing on psychology and medical specialties. She expressed the hope of strengthening exchange and cooperation with our university and achieved a win-win situation in this visit.
 
    The exchange and cooperation between Seisen University and our university began in 2003, and, in 2004, a formal cooperation agreement was signed by both parties. In the last few years reciprocing visits of leaders from universities, academic communications, students exchanging have obtained remarkable results. In the past five years, the total number of our exchange students to Seisen University is 48.Exchange program, scholarship issue and other problems were discussed in this talk. The two parties exchanged gifts of friendship after the meeting.
