On September 24th, HNUST held the 14th Five-Year Plan Formulation Seminar in Lide Building, which was presided over by President Zhu Chuanqu and attended by the persons chiefly in charge of relevant departments.
Zhu put forward explicit requirements for the 14th Five-Year Plan Formulation and stressed that it was of great strategic significance. All departments must attach great importance to it and scientifically formulate the key indicators and main measures of the 14th Five-Year Plan on the basis of the implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan, so as to better blueprint HNUST’s future development.
The relevant persons in charge of Department of Development Planning and Discipline Construction made a report on the implementation of the 13th
Five-Year Plan and the formulation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and put forward relevant thinking of work: to make a better summary of the 13th Five-Year Plan and a more scientific scheme of the 14th
Five-Year Plan; to ensure the quality of the 14th Five-Year Plan and integrate it with Double First-Class initiative; to pay close attention to the policies and measures of our country and Hunan Province regarding the 14th Five-Year Plan; to gather the wisdom and strength to ensure the effective formulation of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
All attendees of the meeting conducted serious discussions and exchanges on how to formulate the 14th Five-Year Plan.
