More than ten types of dances were performed in the competition, such as Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, etc. These dances had their unique styles and rhythms. With bright lights blazing on the stage,  dancers all presented fabulous performances.
After more than two hours’ intense competition, the three groups were ranked according to the scores given by the professional jury. Then, the prizes were awarded by Hu Binliang, Secretary of Party Committee of the School of Physical Education, Jing Longjun, Dean of the School of Physical Education, and Li Yixiang, Vice President of Federation of Social Sciences.

This event was presided over by Liu Liping, a national dancing teacher from Hunan Sports Vocational College, who explained, “This competition is based on the principle of fairness and impartiality. Every group is scored electronically on site, which can be seen immediately after the performance.” Apart from that, the start order was assigned randomly before the competition.
