On April 21st, the third "XunShi Cup" National Undergraduates' Public Management Decision Simulation Competition (the Central China Region) was held in Zhengzhou city. Students from the School of Laws and Public Administration at HNUST, Jiang Jinyu, Wang Zetao and Hu Jintian, won the second prize in the competition. Their project supervisor Wang Huihui and Wang Ming received the prestigious "Excellent Instructor Award."

The competition, organized by the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, attracted over 300 teachers and students representing 58 universities. It consisted of three main parts: Public Management Programme Design, Sandtable Wargaming, and On-site Team Defence. These segments provided a comprehensive evaluation of the students' ability to apply professional knowledge and skills to practice.
