From April 11 to 13, the 11th International Academic Conference on Applied Materials and Manufacturing Technology (ICAMMT 2025) was held in Changsha, Hunan, attracting nearly 300 renowned experts and scholars from around the world. The conference was jointly organized by Central South University, China Mechanical Engineering Magazine, and HNUST. Professor Wang Jin, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of HNUST, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Professor Chen Yuqiang, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School of HNUST, served as co-chair of the conference.

The conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as biomedical materials and magnetoacoustic functional materials. Keynote presentations were delivered by distinguished experts including Professor Javier Llorca (Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain), Professor Fu Mingwang (Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor), Professor Song Cheng (Tenured Professor, Tsinghua University), Professor Li Huijun (University of Wollongong, Australia), Senior Researcher Ali Reza Kamali (University of Cambridge, UK), Professor Alexander Pesin (Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Russia), Wang Guojun (Aluminum Corporation of China), Li Hongping (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd.), and Professor Chen Yuqiang (HNUST).
