On the morning of November 7th, the Party volunteer team from the School of Architecture and Art Design of HNUST attended the review meeting of the beautiful house construction and agricultural product packaging design in Yongfa Village, Huangqiao Town, Dongkou County. The meeting was presided over by Guan Xionghui, Secretary of Party Committee of Huangqiao Town. More than 30 people attended the meeting, including main leaders from Dongkou Rural Revitalization Bureau, Dongkou Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, Party Committee and government of the town and resident team from HNUST.
At the beginning of the meeting, the team leader reported on the village planning, beautiful house construction and agricultural product packaging design from the aspects of policy, current situation, land utilization, industrial layout and living environment, and explained the scheme of beautiful house construction and agricultural product packaging design in detail. Packaging of agricultural products is also an important form of industrial revitalization which contributes to brand building and higher values.
After listening to the village planning, the participants had a deep discussion, thus achieving a consensus that the village planning reflected brilliant professionalism in basic research, and data collection, and they put forward suggestions on industrial layout and recent construction.
Guan Xionghui thought highly of the village planning and fully recognized the dedication and professionalism of the volunteer team, thanked HNUST for its commitment to develop Yongfa Village, and expressed the hope that the design team would continue to participate in the rural construction of Huangqiao Town.
It is reported that the volunteer team of "Bring design to the countryside" went deep into Yongfa Village, in July this year to carry out rural planning research. During the research the team communicated with the town Party and government departments, the two committees of the village and the villagers, obtained a large amount of the first-hand material, and completed the design plan this summer.
In recent years, the School of Architecture and Art Design has seized the opportunity of "Rural Revitalization" and combined it with its professional expertise, continued to promote the voluntary activities of "Bring design to the countryside", and delivered service to the public practically. The School of Architecture and Art Design has contributed wisdom of college to rural revitalization, provided a practical platform for both teachers and students, and achieved the deep integration of "industry-university-research".
