On December 4th , the 30th anniversary meeting of The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals(Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China) was held in Central South University. Doctor Liu Xiao of HUNST was invited to the meeting for winning the 30th Anniversary of The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals TOP 100(2011-2020) High Impact Paper Award which is ranked by the total citation of academic paper. The paper Twinning and texture evolution in extruded AZ31 magnesium alloy during hot deformation published by Doctor Liu Xiao from HNUST and Doctoral Tutor Li Luoxing from Hunan University stood out and won the award.
The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals (Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China), one of the most influential scientific and technological journals in the field of materials, metallurgy and metallography in China, is the source journal of Statistics and Analysis Database of Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers and Chinese Science Citation Database. It is the only academic journal in the field of metal materials and metallography that is listed as class B or above demonstration project. It has been included by some international famous searching systems like US Engineering Index (Core Library) and recognized as a top periodical by HNUST.
It’s reported that papers published from HNUST have totaled over 80 in the journal. Doctor Liu has published 10 papers totally in the journal since 2013, winning the 30th Anniversary of The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals TOP 100(2011-2020) High Impact Paper Award, The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals High Impact Paper Award and First Prize of Excellent Paper and Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China Second Prize of Excellent Paper.
