Recently, the "Math Dream Space Service Team" of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Hunan University of Science and Technology (HNUST) collaborated with Jiuhua’s Heshan Community to conduct an educational outreach program. The “‘Counting’ Colorful Red Culture: Drawing a Grand Blueprint in Heshan Community” initiative combined school education with cultural heritage.

Volunteers led various activities, including telling revolutionary stories and interactive Q&A sessions, allowing the seeds of red culture to take root in the hearts of every child.

In its two-year history the "Math Dream Space Service Team," has adopted a "school-community-village" integrated model and has been committed to educational activities focusing on six key areas: cultural heritage, scientific spirit, knowledge acquisition, healthy lifestyle, responsibility, and practical innovation. The team has cultivated 60 "Young Educational Facilitators" with an average age of 20. It has created nearly 40 "Sunshine Classrooms," bringing a wealth of volunteer activities to more than 200 left-behind children.
