Co-organized by China Association of Higher Education and Chongqing Municipal Government, the 58·59th HIGHER EDUCATION EXPO CHINA(HEEC) was held at Chongqing International Expo Center from April 8th to 10th. He Zelong, Vice President of HNUST, together with the teacher representatives, attended the event.

A special zone for colleges and universities hit the expo for the first time. As the only university from Hunan Province to participate in the expo, HNUST presented its excellent achievements in teaching and research in recent years such as “Hainiu Ⅱ”, which attracted the attention of numerous units. Support and praise were received then. Liu Qijun, director of Higher Education Department of Hunan Education Department paid his visit to the HNUST’s booths and listened to the report made by Wu Lianghong, director of the Academic Affairs Offices of HNUST, Liu spoken highly HNUST’s achievements and preparation work.

On the theme of “High-quality Development Through University-Government Cooperation and Enterprise-school Integration”, the HEEC showed China’s higher educational development achievements in the new era from three aspects, the high-tech equipment exhibition, the high-level conference forum, and the informatization and release of advanced research results, aiming at promoting academic exchanges and development in higher education. In the meantime, the HEEC first introduced four special exhibition zones. Renmin University of China (RUC), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), HNUST and more than 110 universities from 28 provinces across China displayed their own achievements.
