Report Meeting on activities in “Teaching Inspection Week” of the first semester during the 2017-2018 academic year, was held in Lide Building on December, 14th, attended by Liu Deshun, Secretary of Party Committee, President Li Bochao, other school leaders and heads of relevant functional departments.
After listening to the report, Liu Deshun affirmed the achievements made by each group and deployed the further work according to rectification and feedback from all parties. He emphasized that the activities of "Teaching Inspection Week", carried out in HNUST for eight years in a row, have achieved good results. Thus, we should understand the connotation of the activities and build a quality-centered system.In the following rectification work, each group should continue to create a cultural atmosphere where people should be put at the center of the work through introspection and exchanges with each other.
In terms of the form of the report, the coherence of the theme and the solidarity of organization, Li Bochao stressed that all groups should stick to the theme in their work and intensify solidarity, specifying the implementation plan, learning from each other and offering good suggestions.
During the “Teaching Inspection Week”, a number of relevant activities were organized by HNUST. And the leaders of seven research groups, relating teaching, academic atmosphere, support service, logistics support, teaching staff, postgraduate students of discipline scientific research and administrative management, reported their work progress and existing problems, as well as put forward relevant countermeasures.
