Recently, Dr. Zheng Dunyong of HNUST was informed that he was presented with an Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scientist Award which will be given to the winners during the 42nd COSPAR Scientific Assembly (14-22 July 2018, Pasadena, CA, USA).
The paper entitled Variable Pixel Size Ionospheric Tomography was published in journal Advances in Space Research (ASR) in 2017. It is concerned with the inversion of GNSS ionospheric electron density, which realizes the stable inversion of ionosphere and promotes the application of GNSS space weather science.
It is reported that Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scientist Award was established by Committee on Space Research(COSPAR), a subsidiary organization of International Council for Science(ICSU). Starting from 2008, the award was biennially awarded to the candidate who must be first author under the age of 31.
