On October 19th, HNUST and Tsinghua Unigroup signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Zhu Chuanqu, President of HNUST, and Li Ziwei, Vice President of Tsinghua Unigroup·H3C Technologies Co., Limited, attended and delivered speeches. Directors of HNUST’s relevant departments, representative office of H3C Technologies Co., Ltd. and southern China’s related principals of Unisplendour Corporation Limited (UNIS) were present at the meeting.
President Zhu introduced HNUST’s history and achievements of disciplinary construction and talent training. He said that HNUST had a long-term cooperation with H3C Technologies Co., Limited of Tsinghua Unigroup on a friendly basis, and he hoped to jointly build applied ecosystem of wisdom campus and strongly facilitate digitalization under the framework of strategic cooperation. Zhu also hoped to constantly innovate cooperation modes and explore space for cooperation to promote the education modernization and make greater contributions to thriving the country through education.
Li Ziwei introduced profiles of Tsinghua Unigroup and its subsidiary H3C, as well as the situation of H3C’s digital transformation in service and education. He said that education informatization calls for a new type of wisdom campus. With the support of professional teams and experts, HNUST is able to focus more on campus business and the optimization of the scientific research team as well as the faculty.
During the communication, HNUST and Tsinghua Unigroup emphatically discussed future cooperation. Based on their respective advantages, they agreed to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership, conduct multi-layered cooperation through multiple ways, and officially signed the strategic cooperation agreement. At the same time, H3C endowed HNUST with “Tsinghua·H3C Technologies Co., Ltd.” scholarship.
It is known that the strategic cooperation between H3C and HNUST will involve constructing wisdom campus together, promoting educational informatization together, setting up a committee of experts together, building talent training base of industry-education integration together and sharing resources of training and employment together.
After the signing of agreement, Li visited the exhibition on HNUST’s 70th anniversary with President Zhu.
