Born in Yuanling, Hunan province in 1970, Xie Hui, female, is a postgraduate. She is the vice president of HNUST. At present, she is mainly in charge of the personnel work, financial work and some work related to teachers’ development of HNUST, etc. Previously, she worked as the director of Conference Affairs Office of General Office of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress, etc.

She has ever participated in the legislative work of laws and regulations and accomplished some legislative work. Moreover, she has been named as an excellent member of the Communist Party many times and she has ever been awarded Citation Merit for Class Ⅲ and Class Ⅱ.
