HNUST Leadership Visits Affiliated Schools to Celebrate International Children’s Day

From June 1 to 2, Jiang Lizhong, Party Secretary of Hunan University of Science and Technology (HNUST), visited the University’s affiliated kindergarten and primary school to extend festival greetings to students and faculty for International Children’s Day. He was accompanied by Yu Weijian and Yin Fengyu, the University Vice Presidents.

At the Kindergarten, Jiang Lizhong joined children in themed games and toured the classrooms and outdoor activity areas. He emphasized the importance of adopting a child-centered approach and maintaining a safe, supportive environment to foster children’s healthy growth.

During his visit to Jiuhua Heping Affiliated Primary School of HNUST, Jiang Lizhong received a briefing on the School's operations and management. After watching student choir and dance performances, he presented holiday gifts to the pupils, noting that the school should continue to create diverse platforms to help students discover their talents and achieve well-rounded development.

The celebration also featured a campus-wide campaign themed "Joyful Hearts, Happy Growth". Co-organized by the University Trade Union, the Publicity Department, the Youth League Committee, and the School of Architecture and Design, the event took place at the Minghu Square. Children and teenagers participated in traditional handicraft workshops, including batik dyeing, fan painting, sachet making, and bamboo weaving, followed by film screenings at the Li Jinhui Concert Hall, making for a vibrant and enriching holiday experience.
