2025 Hunan Provincial Undergraduate University Communist Youth League Work Joint Meeting Held at HNUST

From December 11^th to 12^th, the 2025 Hunan Provincial Undergraduate University Communist Youth League Work Joint Meeting was held at HNUST. Centered on the in-depth study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20^th CPC Central Committee, the meeting aimed to enrich the second classroom education system by strengthening the mechanism of Party building guiding League building. Zhao Qiancheng, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of HNUST, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Xun, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, gave a concluding address.

The meeting stressed that the Communist Youth League in universities holds a significant position in the League's overall work and must fulfill its founding mission of "educating people for the Party and cultivating talent for the country." It emphasized that efforts must be diligently made in ten key areas, including ideological guidance, social practice, technological innovation, employment and entrepreneurship, student organizations, and youth outreach and services. The meeting called for carrying forward the fine tradition of "Whenever the Party calls, the Youth League acts," accurately identifying the entry points and priorities of their work, and demonstrating a new sense of commitment in serving national strategies and local development.

During the experience-sharing session, the heads of the Youth League committees from Central South University, HNUST, Hunan Institute of Engineering, Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Shaoyang University, and Hunan University of Chinese Medicine took the stage to introduce their innovative practices and successful experiences in Youth League work. A lively discussion and exchange session followed, during which delegates, drawing on their practical work, engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the "grand ideological and political education" framework, social practice, the "Challenge Cup" spirit, innovation and entrepreneurship, student federations and student unions, and contemporary youth ideological trends. Together they analyzed existing problems, pooled collective wisdom, and broadened perspectives to promote the high-quality development of Youth League work in undergraduate universities across the province.

The meeting was attended by the head of the School Department of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the directors of the Youth League committees from all 45 undergraduate universities in Hunan Province.
