2025 Young Teachers' Training Program Kicks Off in HNUST

On the morning of October 10, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Young Teachers' Training Program was held in the Lecture Hall on the fifth floor of Lide Building. GUO Shiyin, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission presided over the ceremony. JIANG Lizhong, Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. A total of 87 newly appointed young teachers attended the ceremony.

JIANG Lizhong stated that teachers are the cornerstone of education and the driving force behind educational excellence, with young teachers being the new vital forces for the university's growth. The aim of this training program is to help new young teachers in transitioning into their new role, "fasten the first button" of their professional careers, and grow into qualified university teachers. JIANG also hoped that young teachers uphold strong convictions and embody the spirit of educators; dedicate themselves to scholarly research to enhance their research and teaching capabilities; concentrate on practical application, integrate what they have learned into real-world work, and actively serve the university's development.


The opening ceremony has invited Professor SHEN Xiangping from Renmin University of China and Professor LU Xiangyang from Hunan Agricultural University to deliver speeches titled "Sincerely Fulfill the Mission of Teaching and Educating" and "Keep the Party's Trust in Mind and Strive to Be a Good Teacher". Dr. JIN Xi from the School of Architecture and Art Design and Dr. CAO Zongjing from the School of Computer Science and Engineering were invited to speak as representatives of veteran and new teachers, respectively.


This training program is organized by the School of Education, focusing on the fundamental task of fostering virtue and cultivating talents. The program covers key areasincluding teacher ethics and conduct, teaching ability, research literacy, and the application of artificial intelligence in education. Through various forms such as special lectures and observation-based discussions, the program aims to comprehensively enhance the professional skills and overall quality of young teachers.
