HNUST's Graduate Zhou Xiang Wins Grassroots Employment Excellence Award for Graduates (and Educators)

Recently, the list of recipients of the "Grassroots Employment Excellence Award for Graduates (and Educators) "for the 2024–2025 academic year has been announced. This year, 15 graduates from universities in Hunan Province have received this award. Zhou Xiang, a 2016 graduate majoring Architecture and Civil Engineering from HNUST, has been successfully selected.

Established under the guidance of the Department of Student Affairs (Department of Graduate Employment Services) of the Ministry of Education and the Student Services and Quality Development Center of the Ministry of Education，the "Grassroots Employment Excellence Award for Graduates (and Educators)" aims to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, and to carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on guiding and encouraging university graduates to work at the grassroots level.

Grassroots employment provides valuable experience for the growth and development of university graduates, as well as an important channel for addressing their employment needs. HNUST will continue to deepen its efforts in employment guidance, actively promote exemplary models of grassroots employment, and encourage more graduates to integrate their personal aspirations with the broader national development goals. In this way, they can contribute their talents where the country and the people need them most.
