Professor Xie is responsible for organization, cadre management, the Party School, finance, the trade union, and social work, she oversees the Organization Department, the Party of School, the Planning and Finance Department, and the Trade Union, and serves as liaison with contact with the Qi Baishi School of Art and the School of Law and Public Administration.

Xie Hui, female, born in March 1970 in Yuanling, Hunan Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), holding a master's degree and the title of professor. She graduated from Hunan Normal University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Language and Literature in 1993. From June 1993, she worked as a journalist and editor at People's Friend Magazine of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress since June 1993. In July 2004, she was appointed as Deputy Director of the Cadre Training Center of Hunan Provincial People's Congress. She obtained a Master's degree in Law from Hunan Normal University in 2008, and became a principal secretary at the department level in June 2009. From April 2010 to January 2012, she took a temporary position as Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hengdong County Committee and Deputy Magistrate of Hengdong County People's Government. She served as Director of the Conference Affairs Division of the General Office of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People’s Congress from August 2013 to April 2019, and then as Director of the Office of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress from May 2019 to October 2019. From November 2019 to March 2021, she held the position of Director of the Office of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress and First-level Researcher. She was appointed Vice President of HNUST from April 2021 to April 2024, and has served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of HNUST since April 2024.

During her tenure at the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress, she participated in and contributed to  the legislative work of multiple regulations. She has been awarded the title of Excellent CPC Member on several occasions, and was awarded Third-Class Merit in 2010 and Second-Class Merit in 2011.
