On the morning of October 27th , International Education College of HNUST and Jinbu Languages of Thailand had an online cooperation meeting hosted by Wang Jing, Secretary of Party branch of International Education College. Liu Ren, assistant dean of International Education College, and relevant staff of International Exchange Department and International Student Management Department attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Jing firstly gave an overview on programs and specialties, school-running features and international cooperation and exchange situations in HNUST. The director of Jinbu Languages also made a brief introduction to its running situation. Administered by the Ministry of Education of Thailand directly, Jinbu Languages, a private language school based on Chinese language teaching, is committed to promoting the learning and spread of Chinese in Thailand and cultivating excellent international Chinese learners to study and travel in China.
The meeting has been a great success, setting the stage for future cooperation. Both sides have discussed and reached preliminary cooperation intention on issues such as establishing overseas Sino-foreign cooperative study centers, running distance-teaching projects for students with different degrees, building practice bases for students majoring in Teaching of Chinese as a Second Language, and recruiting foreign students with different degrees to study in China and learn Chinese.
