Teachers from the Logistics Management Office climbed the slope to trim the branches. At the same time, some volunteers were occupied with transferring the fallen branches, and others were busy weeding in the garden. With joint efforts of the teachers and the students, everything was in good order.

It is reported that the volunteers will be mustered for pruning the cherry trees to ensure the blossoms show their best looks when they are in full bloom. Meanwhile, they will also clean up the weeds around the Minghu Lake to keep the campus tidy for the forthcoming cherry blossom festival.

Luo pointed out that the core value of the Arbor Day is more than just planting trees. It is required to take care of the existing trees. And given that March represents the month of volunteer activities, Luo hoped that the students can learn the Lei Feng spirit and carry forward the new trend of the era through the activity.
