HNUSTers' Startup Projects Exhibited in National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference


On December 10, 2021, the opening ceremony of the 14th National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference was held in Northwestern Polytechnical University. The Intelligent Traffic Road Safety Guard based on the Narrow Band Internet of Things developed by 3 students from the School of Computer Science and Engineering of HNUST was successfully selected into the reform achievements display projects. It was also the first time that HNUST had participated in the Conference.

The National College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference, launched and directed by the Ministry of Education, is an important annual display based on the National Training Program on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. With an overwhelming majority of participants, it is one of the most overall, influential, and high-standard conferences in National Undergraduate Teaching Reform. The 14th conference was held online as well as offline through various forms such as academic research, reform achievement display of innovation and entrepreneurship and recommendation for innovation projects with more than 900 teachers and students from 258 national colleges and universities participating in.


It’s reported that The Intelligent Communication Line Safety Guard based on the Narrow Band Internet of Things is the core project of AIoT, the science and technology innovation team from the School of Computer Science and Engineering of HNUST. The AIoT, founded in 2017, which focuses on developing applications in the Internet of Things (IoT) field, has gained over 30 national awards and 70 provincial awards with 1 paper published in SCI section two journal; 6 patents and 3 software copyrights as well.
